IT'S SUMMERTIME

It's SUMMERTIME!
Who else is just as excited as I am for this fabulous season???
The first week of summer started out WONDERFUL! I spent the week with my boyfriend and his family in Lava Hot Springs and had a blast! I WISH I GOT PICTURES TO POST FOR YOU GUYS.  But since I was spending so much time in the water, I hardly had my camera with me. Anyways, I can already tell that this summer is going to be one of the best ones yet.

I've already got the "lazy" summer hairstyle going on today. I didn't even bother to fix my hair. So oops!! However, I love summer because I hardly have to do anything with my hair. Sure, it can get pretty crazy at times, but I like to go with the flow during the summer. I spend a lot less time getting ready in the morning and it's really nice.

Today's look is very casual. I wore a very old Hollister blouse, with a red/coral belt, and some patterned shorts.  I've decided that patterned shorts are one of my new favorite looks for summer. They add the perfect amount of "POP" to any casual outfit.

Classy 2015

June 3rd, 2015. 9 AM in the morning. 616 students.
5 speeches. And a million degrees outside.

The graduation ceremony was:
-exciting
-a little scary
-boring
-new
-too long
-nerve-racking
-wonderful

It was great to wake up at 5:45 in the morning knowing that it would be the last time I would ever have to wake up that early for a school activity again!!! The choir and I sat in the stands and were the first group to graduate before the others who were sitting on the floor. Little did I know when I was getting ready that morning I would be leading the group of choir members and be the very first to graduate!! I was a nervous WRECK!!! I didn't know what to do, where to go, or who to see! At least I had a lot of teachers there to tell me where to go. I must admit, making it on the jumbo-tron a few times felt pretty awesome.

It was nice to be the first, but then I had to sit through 615 more students. So that made the commencement drag on and on and on. My cute little choir teacher, Mrs. Cazier, won the Heart Of The Titan Award. I was so happy for her. She is one of the most influential and sweetest teachers of mine. She "graduated" among the rest of us, retiring from teaching after dedicating most of her life to teaching choir.  I am so grateful for her example in my life and I am so unbelievably happy to see what she does in her "free" time.

I loved being amongst my friends that day. I was so happy to have my friends and family there to support me. My boyfriend Brock and lifetime best friend Paigely also came to see me. It was great to spend most of the day with them. It was also so nice to spend the rest of the night with my best friends from 4th grade at the senior party where we spent countless hours trying to beat each other at a game of bowling.

I graduated with high honors. I wore two medals and a pin with my cap and gown. They were from Performing Arts and the Theatre Student Of The Year award that I won earlier this year at UTA (Utah Theatre Association). The scholarship pin was given to me earlier that week during a school assembly for obtaining college scholarships.

I just LOVED how I was drowning in the fabulous white gown of mine. It was definitely the greatest fashion statement of the year. jk! I'm so glad I only had to wear it once!

I was so super excited to get my graduation present afterwards. A NEW MACBOOK PRO to use for college! (and my blog ;)) In fact that is what I am currently using to post on my blog! And I LOVE it. I can't wait to get some software on here and learn how to do some GREAT things with it in the future!

Here I am. Class of 2015. I DID IT!

8-teen.

Couldn't help but post these cute pics from my birthday! My cute sister, Jensyn Jeppsen, (aka blogger of Stripes In Bloom), put together all sorts of amazing decorations to help celebrate. She found the PERFECT tropical balloon tutorial from studiodiy on Insta! Be sure to go check them out. I love all of their party decoration tutorials. And these balloons were my absolute FAVORITE.

I was SO happy for the warm weather on my birthday. I was really upset that it had been POURING rain most of the week before. But luckily, Utah was able to warm up just in time for my special day. (Birthday wishes really do come true) Because of the bright sun and not a lot of shade, it was hard to get the sun out of my eyes, and so I'm sorry for lots of squints!

My new favorite accessory/item is my SHOES. When I first saw them at H&M I just about died. I adore them and HAD TO HAVE THEM! They are surprisingly VERY comfortable and easy to walk in! The thick wedge platform and heel make them feel a lot safer to walk in. Not to mention that they make your legs look "on point."

New Website!!

Because of the endless, Technology Troubles, Bad Internet Service, Bad Gateways, and literally Bad EVERYTHINGS.. I decided to switch from my Blog.com account over to Blogger. And I already love the move. I wish I would have originally been a Blogger blogger haha! The other website was just so difficult to post anything on/look up the website. It always kept shutting down on me and kicking me out and I was just so tired of trying to get on there over and over and still not being able to do anything on it. So, here will be all of my NEW posts from now on! I hope to get some great posts ready this summer for you guys. Be sure to check out my instagram and see what new and exciting things I'm up to!
